You lead marketing for the token projects we run liquidity for. You own the plan before and after TGE, open doors into reputable creator and community networks, and stop founders making the expensive mistakes we see repeatedly. This is an insider role, not a classical marketing role — it runs on judgement and relationships, not on tooling.
What you will do
Own the marketing plan for client token projects before and after TGE — positioning, audience, launch sequencing and post-listing communication — alongside our liquidity, spread and listing workstreams.
Build and maintain a working map of crypto attention — creators, research accounts, trading and alpha communities, regional Telegram and Discord ecosystems, podcasts, newsletters — with an evidence-backed view of who genuinely moves informed audiences and who merely sells impressions.
Open doors for clients: introduce them to reputable creators, community operators and ecosystem partners, and negotiate engagement terms that are disclosed, contractually clean and priced against outcomes rather than follower counts.
Run diligence on every creator and community before a client name goes near them — audience authenticity, geographic and product fit, historical project associations, disclosure practice — and say no in writing when the answer is no.
Take over or rebuild client marketing plans and budgets, and tell founders plainly what will not work: runways started too late, incentive designs that manufacture farmer communities, spend front-loaded into launch week, post-TGE phases left unresourced.
Design community and KOL programmes with real attribution — tracked links, referral codes, wallet-level conversion where available — and report against holder quality, retention and community depth rather than impressions.
Coordinate marketing sequencing with our trading and listings desks so announcements, unlocks and listing events are communicated responsibly.
Own disclosure and compliance hygiene across everything we recommend: paid relationships disclosed, no price or return promises, and escalation of anything the firm should decline.
What you need
A genuine, personally held network across crypto attention. You can name the creators, community operators and group admins you are able to reach directly today, and they will speak for you when we call them.
Judgement about which audiences actually matter. Given a token, its stage and its target market, you can specify the handful of accounts and communities worth engaging — and explain why the obvious, expensive ones are not on your list.
First-hand experience carrying a token through TGE and the months that follow, as an advisor, in-house lead or operator, with a candid account of what you got right and what you would do differently.
The ability to run a creator programme end to end — sourcing, diligence, terms, disclosure, scheduling, tracking, post-mortem — described in specifics rather than agency process language.
Fluency in engagement fraud: how bought audiences, engagement pods, recycled captions and manufactured conversions present in the data, and how you detect them before a client pays for them.
Credibility with sophisticated counterparties — able to hold a call with a founder, a CMO and an exchange business lead simultaneously and be taken seriously by all three.
A working understanding of how token markets behave after listing — liquidity, spreads, float, unlock schedules — sufficient to keep the marketing calendar and market structure aligned.
A clean reputation and a visible preference for keeping it: no history of undisclosed promotion, volume inflation or association with rug pulls, and a reliable instinct for what to decline.
Bonus
Depth in a specific regional ecosystem — Korea, Turkey, CIS, Southeast Asia, LATAM, Greater China — with the language to operate in it natively.
Existing relationships with launchpads, exchange listing and marketing teams, research desks or established crypto media.
An owned audience or community you built yourself, at any scale, where you can show how it was grown and retained.
Comfort with on-chain and social analytics tooling (Dune, Nansen, Arkham or equivalent) for holder-quality and attribution work.
Familiarity with promotional disclosure rules in major markets, sufficient to know when counsel must be involved.
Compensation
